The spectacle of Eilat however is no less wondrous. The ‘jewel in the crown’ of Israeli birding, Eilat is a fantastic and beautiful place for desert birding. This is the place to watch for Steppe Eagles on the move, a preponderance of Asian Desert Warblers and Spectacled Warblers and Pallid Swifts on migration.
